SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCES IN TSURUGA

Map Travel Co., Ltd. in cooperation with the Tsuruga Tourism Association have launched the website Sustainable Tsuruga (SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL EXPERIENCES IN TSURUGA). 
The website promotes unique tours that can only be enjoyed here in Tsuruga City, Fukui, and is available in three languages, Japanese/English/Traditional Chinese, to attract visitors from both Japan and overseas.

Awaiting the opening of Tsuruga Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen in Spring 2024, the inbound tourism industry is anticipating the arrival of more visitors and finally showing signs of recovery after the impact of the COVID pandemic. 

Tsuruga city is a port town surrounded by mountains and rich in nature. It has a long history of railroads and harbors, and was once the cornerstone of transportation along the Japan Sea,

We create sustainable travel experiences that promote Tsuruga’s rich culture and nature, and invite people to connect with the locals and experience the unique charm of Tsuruga.

Currently there are three activity plans to choose from, but we plan to expand our contents and create more sustainable tours in the future.
